Website statistics privacy
How we use website statistics
Orbicus Limited uses aggregate website statistics solely to understand and improve PracticePath. This section explains this optional measurement, not the separate account, portfolio or security processing needed to provide the service.
Public page counts
We count views of the pilot, registration and learner, DPP and organisation sign-in pages. Counts are grouped by date, page and a broad referral category, such as Direct / unknown, Google, LinkedIn or Member invitation. The browser converts referral information into a category; it does not send the full referring address or query string with the count.
These statistics records contain no account, visitor or session identifiers, typed text, clinical content or individual browsing history. They are reported to the owner as totals, not named-user activity. Page views are not unique visitors. Aggregation alone does not guarantee anonymity when few people use a service; these statistics must not be used to infer an individual’s activity.
Estimated active time: not enabled
Estimated active-time and visit measurement is not currently enabled. If separately released, it would record only daily totals, with no account or visitor identifiers. It would pause in background or unfocused tabs and after 60 seconds without interaction. It would not record what you type or clinical content.
That feature is designed for a maximum 90-day retention period, subject to verified automatic deletion before activation. This is not a 90-day deletion promise for existing public page counts, whose existing aggregate history is retained. Visits would mean browsing episodes, not distinct people; time would be an estimate, not attendance, competence, learning credit or clinical hours.
Stop optional statistics
You can stop new optional statistics at any time using Privacy settings below. This applies to public page counts and any future active-time measurement. It is free and does not affect access, assessments or account permissions. No agreement to these statistics is required in the Terms and Conditions.
Your setting is saved only in this browser. Use the setting separately on other browsers or devices; clearing browser storage may reset it. We also respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If the browser cannot safely save or read the setting, measurement stays off. Stopping measurement does not remove prior aggregate totals, which are not linked to you.
Technical service records
The statistics request does not include an account login token, cookies or a referrer header. Hosting and network services may separately process technical request information, such as an IP address, for delivery and security. The absence of identifiers in the statistics tables is not a promise that all infrastructure records are anonymous.
For the service contract, see the Terms and Conditions. This privacy section does not change that contract or require you to accept it again.
